Yay, more of my recent obsession with deer.
...and trees. <__<

...hm. I liked this painting more when I started painting it.... Now I cat´t get over the feeling that there´s something missing. It looks just so... plain. Thought that I´d upload it anyways, I´ll just replace this if I do something new on it. Don´t know yet.

I like what you've done with your tree and deer obsession! :D If you really want to add something to it you could try putting vague, large tree textures in the dark colored area. Sort of like in the deer shape is the trees, but outside the deer shape are dark magnified versions. It looks like that a bit anyway, but you can try to make it more defined if you want. Whatever you decide, I like it! :clap:

That's funny, I recently began drawing deer too :P (or women with a doe's head...) Apart from what's already been suggested, I don't think much more needs to be added...there's this thing called horror vacui which can ruin some good pieces, if the artist puts everything full of detail and stuff. I like the simplicity and depth of this. You've done a good job. :+favlove:

Oh dear goodness gracious, this just became my new favorite of your paintings. Herranen aika nainen, sä olet ihan käsittämättömän lahjakas. Ikinä ennen oo tämmöstä ideaa nähny missään, tai sit en vaan katsele riittävästi ympärilleni, mutta kiesus kun on kaunis. Imho tästä ei puutu kyllä yhtään mitään, tuo kaurista/peuraa ympäröivä 'tyhjyys' on kaikessa yksinkertaisuudessaan todella vaikuttavan ja täyden tuntuinen. Lisäksi noissa utuisissa, synkissä puumaisemissa on jotakin käsittämättömän kaunista ja surumielistä. An absolute fave. I need to have this painting on my wall! D:

Aw, kiitoksia taas jälleen kerran. ^^; Ilmeisesti ne "parhaat" ideat lähtee sitten vain oudoista päähänpistoista niinkuin tämä, jos yrittää miettiä mitä tekee se menee yleensä semmoiseen "Öö, joo, maalataan... lohikäärme" meininkiin. Ja en oikein itsekään tiedä mikä juttu minulla noiden puiden kanssa on. <__<
Saa nähdä päädynkö tekemään vielä jotain sille, mutta luultavasti en viitsi.

Kiitos. ^^ Mennyt taas vähän surrealistiseksi vaihteeksi... Pitää vaan totuttaa itsensäkin vielä tuohon pelkistykseen vaikka se periaatteessa oli tarkoituskin, tulee vaan kuitenkin koko ajan katsottua että mitä siihen "voisi" vielä tehdä. Luultavasti en kuitenkaan onneksi viitsi enää.

Thanks! I thought I could have done some birds into the woods or flying from the "deer" or some rays of light, but... then didn´t. Somehow I´m afraid that the painting becomes "too full" and I´m not able to fix it anymore. Meh. The trees in the dark sound like a good idea, but then I would have to paint a scenery in there too an that sounds difficult to do. ^^;;
